Men Arrested Over Co Meath Drug Seizures
Gardaí in Co Meath have recovered drugs worth an estimated €700,000 during a search in Rathkenny on Thursday afternoon.
Three men aged 31, 35 and 44, were arrested in connection with the find.
The initial search uncovered cannabis herb, with a follow up search uncovering heroin, tablets and cannabis herb and resin along with a large sum of cash was also seized.
Gardaí say that the operation was planned and carried out by the Organised Crime Unit and the National Bureau of Criminal Investigations.

Gardaí in Co Kildare have seized cannabis worth an estimated €800,000. The find was made during a planned search of a house in Crossmorris on Monday. Officers seized 40kg of cannabis herb in the search. A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the find.

Gardaí in Co Longford have arrested two men in connection with cannabis herb worth an estimated €40,000. Officers seized the drugs during a search of a premises in Newtownforbes on Saturday night. Garda say that one of the men remains in custody and that their investigation is ongoing.

Gardaí in Waterford have arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with the discovery of cannabis herb worth an estimated €110,000. The drugs were uncovered during a search of an apartment in Penrose Court, Penrose Lane, on Tuesday evening. Gardaí say that the man is being held at Waterford Garda Station.
