Woman Found Dead In Co Dublin

A woman in her 30s has been found dead in Sandyford in Co Dublin early this morning.

The woman's body was discovered when Gardaí were called to the scene at a residence on the Irish Management Institute (IMI) campus at 7am.

A man in his late 40s has been taken to St Vincent's University Hospital in Dublin where he is currently undergoing Surgery.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination and the State Pathologist has been notified.

A spokesperson for the IMI said the residence is where people who are attending courses at the institute can stay.

Gardaí have since launched a public appeal into the incident and have asked anyone with information to contact Dundrum Garda Station ph 6665600 or the Garda Confidential Line phone number 1800 666 111.

€140,000 Worth Of Cocaine Seized In West Dublin
Gardaí have seized cocaine worth €140,000 at premises in Ronanstown in west Dublin. The discovery was made during a raid at around 7pm on Wednesday. A woman was arrested at the scene however she has since been released without charge. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Body Found In Search For Missing Woman
Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Pamela Kenny have confirmed they have found a body. Ms Kenny, 52, was last seen in Delwood, Castleknock, on Monday (2 March) at around 10.30am. An appeal was launched into her whereabouts. Gardaí have since confirmed the body is that of Ms Kenny.

Gardaí Seize Cannabis In Dublin
Gardaí in Dublin have seized cannabis herb worth an estimated €100,000 and arrested two people. Garda said that a planned raid was carried out on premises in Coolmine, Dublin 15, on Thursday. A 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested at the scene. A file is being prepared to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Body Of Missing Woman Frankie Devlin Found
Gardaí have reported that the body of Frankie Devlin was recovered on Wednesday 9 October. Ms Devlin (67) was reported missing on Saturday 5 October and a search operation had been ongoing. The discovery was made on the same day that garda had renewed an appeal for information on the whereabouts of Ms Devlin.
