Men In Court Over Cannabis Seizure
Two men are due in court in Northern Ireland after gardaí and the PSNI intercepted a cross-border drug smuggling operation over the weekend.
Cannabis worth more than €550,000 and a large amount of cash were recovered in the operation. One man was arrested in Co Monaghan, while two men were detained in Ballymena in Co Antrim.
It is believed the drugs were brought from Dublin across the border into Northern Ireland. Two of the men are due to appear before Newry Magistrates Court today.
Meanwhile a planned operation by Detective Gardai in Limerick has turned up an arms cache.
Officers based at Roxboro Road Limerick, assisted by the Divisional Search team carried out a search of a house and lands at east Limerick. During the search a number of firearms totaling two pistols, a stun gun and a quantity of ammunition were recovered.
A male aged in his 30s was arrested and is currently being detained at Roxboro Road Garda Station under the Offences Against the State Act. Enquiries are ongoing.

Men Arrested Over €300,000 Drug Haul
Ecstasy tablets with an estimated street value of €150,000 have been recovered during a search by Gardaí in Co Limerick. The tablets were discovered at a house in Annagh, Murroe in Bruff, at about 19:00 on Saturday. Gardaí arrested two men at the scene.

Feuding Limerick Gang Cash And Property Seized
Cash, Computers and documents belonging to members of a feuding gang have been seized in a number of raids yesterday. Gardaí revealed this morning that a search operation was conducted in Counties Dublin, Tipperary, Offaly and Kerry targeting individuals involved in the Limerick gang feuds.

Gang Attack Three Elderly Siblings
Three elderly siblings have been attacked by a gang with a sword and knives in Co Limerick last night. They are currently being treated in hospital after receiving serious injuries to their head and limbs. Two masked men entered the pensioners' home in Ballyluddy and assaulted the three pensioners.
