Court Date Follows Arms and Drugs Find
A man is to appear in court on handgun and drug charges following searches on a house in Dublin.
The 36-year-old man and is to appear before Dublin District Court this morning.
He was arrested Wednesday in connection with the discovery of three handguns and over 1,000 tablets believed to Ecstasy at Dolphin's Barn in the Capital.
Gardai from the National Drug and Organised Crime Unit, supported by the local Kevin St Drug unit, were carrying out the search of the Dolphins Barn premises in Dublin at the time of the arrest.
During the course of the search three handguns and over 1000 tablets believed to be Ecstasy with a street value in the region €5000 were recovered. Also found during the course of the search was a large quantity of what is believed to be mixing agent and an assortment of paraphernalia associated with drug production.
A 36-year-old male was arrested and was detained at Kevin St Garda Station under the the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act.

Three Arrested Following Drugs Find
A couple from Cork and an Irishman have been arrested in Spain after €6 million of cannabis was discovered on board an Irish yacht. Approximately 500kg of the drug was discovered on board the vessel by Spanish authorities. It is believed to have been travelling from Morocco. Gardai are liaising with Spanish police in relation to the three suspects.

Man Arrested Over Ecstasy Seizure
Drugs worth almost €230,000 have been seized during planned searches in the Balgaddy area of Clondalkin. Gardaí from the Lucan/Ronanstown Drugs Unit carried out a planned search on Monday, 10 August just before 20:30. Ecstasy tablets with a value of €225,000 and prescription drugs, valued at €4,000, were seized.

Officers from Revenue's Customs Service, assisted by the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau discovered the drugs during two house searches. Two men, aged 42 and 43, and a woman, 46, were arrested.

Man Arrested After €40k Drugs Find
A man has been arrested after gardaí discovered a large quantity of drugs in Co Tipperary. Officers conducted searches at four premises in the Roscrea area on Thursday. The cocaine, which is thought to have an estimated street value of €40,000, were found during the searches and have since been seized.

A search of two properties was carried out on Saturday morning by members of the Organised Crime Unit, the Garda National Drugs Unit, Crime and Security and the Emergency Response Unit, and local units from Tallaght.
