Man Held In Soldiers' Murder Probe

Another man has been held by police investigating the murder of two Antrim-based sappers.

The 51-year-old man was arrested by police investigating the murders of Sappers Patrick Azimkar and Mark Quimsey at Masserene barracks earlier this year.

He is being questioned about the attempted murders of five other people during the dissident republican gun attack at the Antrim base in March.

He was arrested in the Mid Ulster area and taken to Antrim police station.

Two men, Brian Shivers, from Maghera, and Colin Duffy, from Lurgan, have been charged with the murders.
