Gardai at Terenure investigating the murder of Liam Murray are appealing to the public for information.

Liam of of Rockbrook Cottages, Rathfarnham, Dublin, was found some days after his death in his bed.

He had been shot in the head and chest.

He was later seen in the Terenure area.

Rockbrook Cottages are on the Edmonstown Road near Rockbrook School and close to the Mount Venus Cemetery.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have seen Liam on or since St Patrick's Day or who may have been in the vicinity of Rockbrook Cottages in the days up to and after St Patrick's Day.

Witnesses are asked to contact the incident room in Terenure on 01 6666400, or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111.
