Kildare And Tyrone Roads Claim Two Lives
A Teenager has died after a road crash near Newbridge in Co Kildare.
The two-car crash happened at around 6pm yesterday at Blacktrench.
The 19-year-old man was taken to Naas General Hospital after the collision but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Co Tyrone was the scene of another tragic incident, where a man died after his car struck a tree near Dromore.
Aidan McLaughlin's vehicle was discovered around 7.45am this morning on the Lettergash Road in Tummery, but the time of the collision is not known.
Police are appealing for anyone who was travelling in the area or who may have come across the scene to contact them.

Woman, 82, Dies In Road Accident
An 82-year-old woman has died following a road accident in Donegal. The crash occurred at around 3.50pm on Monday (18 August) at The Ross in Bundoran. Gardaí have said a car collided with a fence in the incident. The woman was transferred to Sligo Hospital but later died from her injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardaí.

A man has died in a road crash in Co Monaghan, gardaí have reported. According to gardaí the man in his 20s died in a two-car collision on the N2 Dublin-Monaghan, south of Carrickmacross. It is understood the victim was the driver of the one of the cars involved in the accident.
