Young Woman Goes Miissing In Dublin

An appeal has been launched into the disappearance of a teenage girl who has gone missing from her Dublin address.

Gardaí at Fitzgibbon Street are seeking the whereabouts the 17-year-old Margaret Kearney who has been missing from her accomodation on Sherrard Street since Friday afternoon, last week.

Margaret is described as being 5'6'' tall, black shoulder length hair and medium build. According to Gardaí, when last seen she was wearing navy jeans and a brown jacket.

A Gardaí spokesman said Margaret is known to frequent Dublin City Centre.

Officers have requested for public assistance in finding Miss Kearney, and have requested that anyone with information to Gardaí at Fitzgibbon Street.

Man Charged Over Serious Assault
A man in his 20s is expected to appear in court, charged in connection with a serious assault that happened at Dorset Street, Dublin. On Sunday morning, at around 1.45am, Gardaí were called to the scene at an apartment at Kelly's Row. A man, aged in his 30s, was suffered serious injuries in the attack and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Missing Tramore Teenager Found Safe
A 16-year-old girl who went missing from her home in Tramore, Co Waterford, has been found safe and well, Gardaí have said. Margueritta 'Maggie' Goulden was reported missing on 8 January. It is understood the teenager was found in the Dublin area. Gardaí have thanked the public for their assistance in the case.

Ten Teenagers Arrested Over Robberies And Assaults
Gardaí investigating a number of robberies and assaults in Dublin have arrested ten teenagers, aged 14 to 19. A series of raids were carried out in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Dublin and Louth by officers investigating robberies and assaults carried out in the Dublin area over the summer.

Woman And Child Hit By Car While Walking On Dublin Street
A woman has been killed after being hit by a car as she pushed a pram along a Dublin street. Gardaí have reported that the woman in her 30s was killed and a child injured when they were hit by a car on the main Dublin Road into Balbriggan. The child is being treated at Temple Street Children's Hospital.
