Two Adults Arrested Over Aidan O'Kane Shooting

Gardaí have made further arrests as part of their investigation into the shooting of Aidan O'Kane on Sunday night.

Gardaí have made a total of three arrests this morning, with a 32-year-old female, a 33-year-old male, and another male aged 18.

The 18-year-old is being detained at Bridewell Garfa Station, while the two others are currently being questioned at Pearse Street and Store Street Garda Stations.

Two male teenagers arrested in relation to the shooting were released from custody without charge last night.

There are a total of seven people presently in custody in relation to the incident.

The father of one was shot once in the body after he chased a gang of youths who threw eggs at his home at Shelmalier Road at around 7.15pm on Sunday.

He died 30 minutes later in hospital.

The incident has sparked a call for tighter hand gun controls by the Government.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Gardaí at Newcastle West are investigating a two-vehicle fatal road traffic collision. This latest road tragedy occurred on the N21 at Ballintubbrid, Newcastle West, Limerick, late last night, shortly after 11.30pm.

Tullamore Shooting - Man Released Without Charge
A man arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Tullamore on Sunday night has been released without charge. The arrest followed an shooting incident outside a house in Cluain Darach, Tullamore at about 19:00 on Sunday evening in which a male in his 30s and a female in her 20s were injured.

Gardaí at Tullamore Co Offaly investigating a shooting incident at Cluain Darach yesterday evening have arrested a male. At approximately 7pm on Sunday night a man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s were injured following a shooting incident outside a house in Cluain Darach, Tullamore by a lone gunman.
