Tullamore Shooting - Man Released Without Charge
A man arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Tullamore on Sunday night has been released without charge.
The arrest followed an shooting incident outside a house in Cluain Darach, Tullamore at about 19:00 on Sunday evening in which a male in his 30s and a female in her 20s were injured.
The gunman escaped in a waiting car and the injured male and female were taken to the Midland Regional Hospital at Tullamore.
A vehicle was later found burned out near Durrow, Co. Offaly.
Gardai from Tullamore arrested a male in his early 20s in the Offaly area yesterday morning. He has now been released without charge.

Women Arrested Over Emily Barut Murder
Gardaí have arrested a woman in her 50s this morning as part of an investigation into the murder of Emily Barut. 11-year-old Emily died at her home on Bachelors Walk, Tullamore on 15 September 2012. The woman is due to appear at Tullamore District this morning at 10:30 charged in relation to the investigation.

Man Arrested Following Cannabis Find
Gardai have arrested a man after 300 cannabis plants, worth around €250,000, were seized in Co Offaly. The plants were found at a house at Coolcur in Rhode on Wednesday. A 50-year-old male is currently being detained at Tullamore Garda Station.

Four Men Arrested In Connection With Burglaries
Gardai have arrested four men as part of an ongoing operation targeting organised criminal groups involved in burglary. On Tuesday Garda recovered house breaking implements in a car which was stopped near Tullamore. The men, all aged in there late teens, are currently being detained at Tullamore Garda Station.
