Gardaí Re-Launch Of Appeal Into Fatal Stabbing
Gardaí have re-launched a witness appeal into the murder of a Romanian man in Co Meath during July.
Ilie laurentiu Dutu, 32, a father of two, was found murdered on the evening of Friday 17th June, in an apartment in Bettystown.
It is understood the Romanian may have been a member of a gang involved in bankcard skimming frauds in Ireland.
Gardaí wish to speak to a number of individuals, including anyone who may have seen or have information in relation to a silver Audi A8, bearing foreign registration plates which was in the area at the time. They are also searching for a female who was in the apartment at the time of the murder to come forward pf for anyone who was in the vicinity of the apartment at the time to come forward.
Gardaí are also seeking anyone who was in the area of Sevittsland Wood, The Narroways, Bettystown, Co. Meath on the evening of 13th July to come forward, and are keen to speak to those from the Romanian and Polish communities who may have any information in relation to the murder to come forward.
The investigation is ongoing at Drogheda Garda Station, and the case is being featured on the RTE show, Crimecall, on Tuesday.

Murder Appeal After Nine Years Pass
Gardaí have re-launched a murder probe - after a nine year investigation has proven fruitless. The inquiry is into the murder on Raonaid Murray in 1999, and markes the run -up to the nine-year anniversary of her death. Gardaí at Dun Laoghaire are continuing their investigation into the murder, which occurred on the 4th September 1999, in Dublin.

New Searches Underway In Drogheda In Mulready-Woods Investigation
Gardaí investigating the murder of Keane Mulready-Woods(17) are carrying out further searches in Drogheda. According to reports, a search is underway at Oldbridge, with the surrounding area sealed and the road closed. It follows searches carried out earlier this week in the Rathmullen Park area of the town.

The police in Cork have only a few more days in which to question three men over the murder of a suspected drug dealer in Cork in August. Father of two Darren Falsey (36) was shot dead when he answered a knock at the front door of his home in Ashbourne Court, Ferney Road, Carrigaline, on August 3rd.

Man Arrested Over Dún Laoghaire Murder
A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 65-year-old woman in Dublin. Gardaí said that the woman, named Jane Braidwood, was attacked in the kitchen of her home at about 17:00 on Tuesday by a man "known to her".
