Three Arrested Over Death Of Cork Man (65)
Three men have been arrested as part of the investigation into the death of a 65 year-old man in Co Cork.
Gardaí at Macroom station are investigating the death of the man in the Mount Rivers area on 19th August.
The three arrests were made early on Tuesday morning and were made in relation to reports of a serious assault that occurred on the deceased and another man prior to his death.
The second man was treated for his injuries at the time in Cork University Hospital and later released.
The 65 year-old man was said to have died in an ambulance on the way to the same hospital.
All three are detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Bandon Garda Station. One is aged 56 years and the other two are 23 years of age.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Co Offaly Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A 52-year-old Co Offaly man missing for three weeks has been found "safe and well", gardaí have reported. William Valentine, of Geashill, Co Offaly was last seen on October 10 at the Cappincur Roundabout in Tullamore. Gardaí had issued appeals for help in tracing him. No information has been released as to how or where Mr Valentine was found.

A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Man Arrested Following Death Of A Man In Phoenix Park
A second man has been arrested in Dublin in connection with the murder of a man in the Phoenix Park on Friday. The man is currently being held at Finglas Garda Station. The victim is believed to have been attacked and set alight in a sleeping bag.
