Thieves Make Quick Get Away With Speedboat

A one of a kind in the UK or Ireland speedboat has been stolen from a home in Offaly.

Gardai in Banagher Co Offaly are appealing for assistance from the public in locating the whereabouts of the €30,000 speedboat, stolen in Banagher in the early hours of Monday morning.

According to Gardaí, the boat is a 'Supra Launch 22 SSV' speedboat and was taken from The Marina, Banagher.

It is described as being blue and black in colour with a drawing of the World Globe on the side. The word 'Supra' is also printed in white on the side of the boat.

The boat was mounted on a custom built trailer with four 18 inch alloys and stainless steel mudguards. The boat is the only one of its kind in England or Ireland.

Gardai are anxious to speak to anyone who may have seen a white Transit van in the Banagher area at around 4.30am.
