Road Accidents Cause Dublin Traffic Mayhem

Heavy delays have spread throughout Dublin due to a series of road accidents across the city.

A breakdown on the M50 at the M1 roundabout has blocked the northbound lane of the motorway, causing huge delays back to the Ballymun junction.

The Lower Kimmage Road has been closed following a crash. The closure is between Ravensdale Park and Aideen Avenue part of the road.

Traffic is also being diverted away from the area and the 54A and 19A buses are also having to take alternative routes.

Meanwhile, a crash between two trucks has also blocked the right lane of the N7 at the Monastery Road junction.

The capital has been plagued by accidents this week, with major traffic problems resulting.
