Party Calls For Action To Address Anti-Social Behaviour

Fine Gael is demanding action to address knife culture and anti-social behaviour during private members' time in the Dáil tonight.

The party is vowing to challenge the Government over its record on crime during private members' time in the Dáil.

They want reforms introduced in the two areas.

Meath TD Dominic Hannigan is introducing a bill to speed up the process of council's taking over estates abandoned by bankrupt builders. The Labour Deputy is introducing a Private Members Bill in the Dáil today aimed at reducing the time it takes to get an unfinished estate taken in charge by local authorities, down from seven to three years.

Calls For End To JobPath Employment Programme
Sinn Fein has demanded an end to the JobPath employment scheme. The programme is designed to help those who have been out of work for a long period of time back into employment, but the party claims that two private companies behind the initiative are making money, to the detriment of job seekers.
