Coach Overturns As Crash Victims Named

Up to nine people have been hospitalised following an incident in which a bus was overturned at Skeheenaranky, Co Tipperary this morning. The Air Coach was traveling from Dublin to Cork with around a dozen passengers. Initial reports claim there are no serious injuries.

The N8 Cahir to Mitchelstown Road is blocked as Gardaí deal with the incident. Diversions are in place at the scene. Traffic will have to divert via Clogheen (R665 and R668) and delays are likely on all local routes in the area until further notice.

28-year-old Marian Ionescu of Parnell Street in Dublin died in a car crash at Gorteen, Castledermot, Co Kildare. He was killed when the car he was driving crossed over to the other side of the road and hit an oncoming vehicle.

While 50-year-old Daru Coldea from Islandbridge in Dublin died in a collision at Santry, at around 8pm Monday.
