Actor Arrested At Dublin Airport

Cork-born actor Jonathan Rhys-Meyers was arrested at Dublin airport on Sunday afternoon.

The 30-year-old actor was charged with being drunk and disorderly and with a breach of the peace, after he was not allowed to board a British Midland flight yesterday afternoon.

He was taken to Whitehall Garda station but was later released on cash bail and is due to appear before Dublin District Court next month.

Rhys-Meyers, who is currently starring in the television series 'The Tudors', had been in Dublin to promote his new film 'August Rush', which opens on Friday.
