Two Men Remanded Over Dublin Shooting

Two men have been remanded in custody after appearing at Kilmainham District Court on Monday charged in connection with a shooting at a house in west Dublin on Saturday morning.

Several shots were fired through the window of a house in Cherry Orchard Parade in Ballyfermot around 4am on Saturday.

There were two adults and three children in the house, but no one was injured in the attack.

Two men, who were armed with a semi-automatic shotgun, were chased and arrested by gardaí after the men threatened them.

Both men are due to appear before Cloverhill District Court on November 15.

Woman Charged Over Suspicious House Fire
A woman has been charged in relation to a suspicious house fire in Co Louth last year. Following an investigation into the blaze, which occurred at Cork Street in Drogheda on 16 August last year, gardaí confirmed a 27-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the incident. A woman, aged 73, was seriously injured in the fire in 2014.

Woman Charged Over Fatal Fire In Cork
A woman has been charged in connection with a fatal fire in Mallow, Cork, in March, 2013. Two men died in a fire at an apartment at Granary Court on 13 March, 2014. The woman was arrested on Monday and brought to Mallow Garda Station where she was charged.

Three Die In Separate House Fires
Two men and a woman have died in three separate house fires in Limerick and Kerry. In the latest incident, a man in his 60s died following a house fire in Tralee in Co Kerry. The fire broke out in the terraced house in Connolly Park at about 9.30pm yesterday. Gardaí were called to the scene at around 9.
