Child Dies In Cork Car Crash Tragedy
A five-year-old girl has been killed in a road traffic collision in Co. Cork.
The crash occurred on Church Street in Newmarket around 5:30pm on Monday. The girl was a passenger in a car, which was involved in a collision with another car.
It is understood that the girl's mother, her seven-year-old sister and the driver of the other car escaped without serious injury.
The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination and traffic diversions remain in place.

Man Dies In Galway Crash
A man has been killed in a road crash in Co. Galway. The two-car collision happened on the main Gort to Ennis Road near the Galway-Clare border around 7:30am this morning. The victim is understood to be the driver of one of the vehicles, while the driver of the other vehicle was also injured and has been taken to hospital.

Girl Critical Following Two Car Collision
A young girl is in a critical condition in hospital following a two-vehicle collision in County Clare this morning. According to reports two cars collided at about 9.15am on the main Ennis to Ennistymon road, near Inagh. The child was treated by emergency services at the scene before being taken by air ambulance to University Hospital Limerick.

Four Killed On Irish Roads This Weekend
A number of separate road crashes this weekend have claimed four lives, including a father and son. John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. The collision occurred at the junction of Slab Road, Burt, on the Main Letterkenny to Derry Road at approximately 10.

Gardaí have appealed for help locating a teenage girl missing from her Dublin home. 17-year-old Donna Maughan is missing from the Blanchardstown area. She is approximately 5'5", of slim build with blonde hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Gardaí on 01 6667000.
