Dublin Mystery Woman Identified

Gardaí in Dublin have identified a woman who walked into a garda station last week apparently suffering from amnesia.

The woman walked into Store Street Garda Station on September 30 and told gardaí that she had no idea who she was. She was carrying a chihuahua dog and had no identification.

According to reports, it has now been established that the woman is a 42-year-old US citizen and it is believed that she went to the garda station after arriving on a flight from the US. She is also believed to have an address in California.

The woman is now in the care of the US embassy.
