Woman Killed By Bus In Athlone
A woman has died in hospital after she was knocked down by a bus in Athlone, Co Westmeath.
The incident happened yesterday at around 2.20pm on the Southern Station Road.
The 40-year-old woman was taken to Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe but died yesterday evening.
Gardaí are investigating the incident.

Woman Stabbed In Athy
A woman has been stabbed in Athy, Co Kildare. The woman, believed to be in her 60s, was stabbed just before noon, on Tuesday. She was taken to Naas General Hospital and was treated with minor injuries. Gardai have launched an investigation. No arrests have been made.

Man Dies In Co Roscommon Crash
A man in his 70s has died following an early morning crash in County Roscommon. The car struck a wall at Ballyforan at around 4.50am this morning, Tuesday 17 September. The driver was rushed to Roscommon University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A woman passenger of the car was uninjured.

An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

A pensioner has died following a road collision in Co Monaghan. The two-vehicle incident occurred on the R188, Monaghan to Cootehill road, at Stranooden on Saturday. A passenger in one of the cars, a female aged in her 80s, was taken by ambulance to Cavan General Hospital, however she was later pronounced dead.
