Weekend Accidents Add To Road Death Toll
Road traffic accidents have claimed the lives of three people.
A 77-year-old pedestrian struck by a bus on Sunday afternoon died in hospital.
Yesterday, a 19-year-old man died following a crash on Saturday in Co. Kildare.
The man was a bicyclist who was involved in a collision with a van at the front gates of Newbridge College.
Gardaí are investigating the incidents.
Also on Sunday a man has been killed and two seriously injured in a car crash near Comber in Co. Down.
The car the three men were in was involved in a collision with a second vehicle.
A PSNI spokesperson said that the driver of the second vehicle did not require hospital treatment.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.

Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash
A man has been killed in a collision in Galway. The car crash happened at around 2.45am this morning on the Headford to Galway Road. The 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Teenager Killed In Co Tipperary Road Crash
Gardaí in Co Tipperary have reported the death of a 19-year-old man in a road accident. According to gardaí the man, whose name has not been released, was killed in a single vehicle collision on the Fethard/Killenaule road after 8am. There was nobody else in the car at the time. An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.

Gardaí are appealing to witnesses of a fatal road accident in Galway on Tuesday night. A 60-year-old man died after his car hit a wall in the Liosban Industrial Estate at about 22:00. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The victim was pronounced dead at University College Hospital Galway.
