Gardaí Investigate Drogheda Death
Gardaí are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in an apartment in Drogheda, Co. Louth on Sunday night.
The body of the 28-year-old was found in an apartment in Fair Street around 10pm on Sunday night. It is thought that the man had suffered stab wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man, believed to be in his twenties, has been arrested and is being questioned at Drogheda Garda station.
The scene remains sealed off and experts from the Garda's Technical Bureau are understood to still be at the scene.
The State Pathologist has carried out a preliminary post-mortem examination.

Search For Man Who Stole Garda Car
A hunt has been launched for a man that stole a Garda vehicle before driving it over the border and alighting in South Armagh. Gardaí said they are searching for the man who was stopped by two gardaí driving near Lusk, Co Dublin, at around 9.30pm on Sunday night. He was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and placed in the garda car.

Body Found In Drogheda
Gardaí in Dundalk are appealing for witnesses following the discovery of the body of a 53-year-old man in Dundalk. The man's body was discovered at about 3am on Monday, 28 September in Kilcurry. Garda have named the man as Martin Mulligan, a family man from the Dundalk area.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Woman's Body Found In County Laoise
Gardai are continuing with their investigations after the discovery of a woman's body in County Laoise. The woman, believed to be in her 30s, was found at a flat in Mountrath. The alarm was raised shortly after 8pm on Friday. A man in his 30s has been arrested in relation to the incident and is detained at Portlaoise Garda Station.
