Appeal For Witnesses For Dublin Shooting

Gardai investigating a shooting at a flat in Ballybough, Dublin, on Tuesday morning have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

The shots were fired at the property just after 2am on Tuesday. No-one was reported injured in the incident.

Gardai said that they believed the shots may have been fired from inside the railings at Poplar Row, which links East Wall Road and Clonliffe Road.

Gardai from Fitzgibbon Street Garda station are investigating.

Shots Fired At Clondalkin Home
Gardai are investigating a shooting incident which occurred in Clondalkin, County Dublin, last night. Two shots were fired through the front windows of a house at Willow Avenue in Clondalkin at around 10.50pm. Two people who were in the house at the time escaped injury.

Shots Fired At Apartment In Donaghmede
Gardaí are investigating reports that four shots were fired at an apartment in Donaghmede in north east Dublin this morning. The dwelling at Grattan Lodge is sub-divided into apartments and investigators have closed off the area while the scene is examined. A report of shots fired was called in to Gardaí at around 1.40am.

Gardaí Drug Bust Scoops €5m
A Gardaí operation in Dublin has turned up a major drug find resulting in arrests and the seizure of a heroin stash worth almost €5 million. According to a Gardaí spokesman, an ongoing operation targeting illegal drug activity in the South Dublin area led officers from the National Support Services to stop a van in the Templeogue area.
