Man Being Question Over Dublin Death
A man is still being questioned in connection with the death of a 46-year-old woman in Dublin on Tuesday.
The mother of three was found with stab wounds at a house in La Verna Dale in Castlerock in west Dublin yesterday morning and she was admitted to hospital where she later died.
The woman had three children aged nine, six and three-years-old.

Garda Recover Money Conned Out Of Elderly Dublin Woman
All the money taken by conmen from an 83-year-old Dublin woman, has been recovered, gardaí have reported. A group of men took €3,000 from Kathleen Byrne after convincing her that urgent work needed to be done on the roof of her home. The men took the money and never returned.

Three Arrested Over Knife-Point Hold-Ups
Three people have been arrested in connection with a spate of knife-point robberies in Dublin. Two women and a man were detained by garda during a planned operation in Blanchardstown, west Dublin. The three are being questioned about robberies in three shops in the area over the past two weeks, in which shopkeepers were threatened with knives.

Gardaí are appealing for help in tracing missing Dublin man Greg Ward. Mr Ward, 31, was last seen in Blanchardstown on Sunday 3 May. He is described as being 6'2" in height and has a vast amount of tattoos and piercings over his body. Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

A former garda officer has been sentenced to three years for the theft of thousands of euros from colleagues and an elderly woman. A court heard how 30-year-old David Foran responded to a burglary at an elderly woman’s home and found she had hidden nearly €2,000 in her bedroom. He later returned to steal the cash.
