Man Dies Following Tipperary Road Crash

A 41-year-old man has died following a collision in Co. Tipperary at the weekend.

The crash happened around 7:35am on Saturday morning at Brittas in Thurles.

It is understood that a car went out of control and hit a concrete post.

The man, who was driving the car, was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to hospital, but he died early on Sunday morning.

He was the only person in the car at the time of the crash.

It is understood that the man, who has not yet been named, was a foreign national.

A man has been killed in a collision in Galway. The car crash happened at around 2.45am this morning on the Headford to Galway Road. The 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Pensioner Killed In Tipperary Crash
A 90-year-old man died after being involved in a road crash in Co. Tipperary. The incident happened at Ballygambon in Fethard around 8:30am on Thursday morning. It is understood that the man's car left the road and crashed into a pillar. He was taken to South Tipperary Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A man has been killed in a single-car crash in Co. Tipperary this morning. The crash happened shortly after 8am on Thursday on the road between Templemore and Borrisoleigh. Another man was also critically injured in the crash. Both men are believed to be in their twenties.

Carlow Car Crash Kills Two
Two people have been killed in County Carlow. A man, 23, and a woman, 18, died when the vehicle they were travelling in hit a tree in Kilcarry, Clonegal. No other vehicles were involved in the incident and the two killed were the only occupants in the car. Garda have appealed for any witnesses to the crash.
