Three Questioned After Roscommon Car Chase
Three men involved in a high-speed road chase following a burglary in County Roscommon are being held for questioning.
Gardai made the arrests following reports that the Eircom building in Castlerea had been broken into at 3.00am on Friday morning.
An unmarked patrol car took chase after the suspects when an unmarked garda vehicle failed to stop the getaway car.
The road chase lasted for an hour before the getaway driver crashed into a field, at which point the three men made their escape on foot.
Gardai caught one of the men and took him to Castlerea Garda Station for questioning. Two other men were arrested later that morning.

Three Arrested After Co Carlow Car Chase
Gardaí have arrested three men in Co Carlow following a chase when the car failed to stop at a checkpoint. It is understood that the incident happened just after midnight on the N80 in Clonegal. Garda gave chase as the car made off towards Carlow town. In the town, the car rammed a garda patrol car injuring three officers.

Three Arrested After High-Speed Car Chase
Three men were arrested on Wednesday evening following a high-speed car chase on the M1 motorway. Garda came upon a car in Drogheda travelling south that had been stolen in the north. Following a pursuit, garda attempted to ram the car near the M1/M50 junction, damaging three garda cars in the operation.

Three Injured And Three Arrested In Longford Car Chase
Three people required hospital treatment following a high-speed car chase in Longford on Saturday night. Gardai said a patrol car was carrying out a routine circuit of the town when it tried to stop a car. However, the car sped off at speed and gardai gave chase. The chase ended when the suspects car crashed at Goshen cross outside Longford.

Two Arrested After M50 Car Chase
Two men have been arrested following a car chase on the M50. Gardaí have said that a man and a woman had travelled to a car park in Naas in order to meet with another person about selling a silver BMW. It is understood that as the BMW attempted to leave, the car was blocked by another car and an SUV.

Two Arrested After High-Speed Chase With Stolen Car
Two men have been arrested in connection with a high-speed chase involving dozens of patrol vehicles and a garda helicopter. Gardaí have said that the pursuit started at around 03:00 in Kinnegad, Co Westmeath. The two men had stolen the Opel Astra after breaking into a house in Ballina, Co Cavan.
