Seven Killed In Separate Road Crashes
Five people, three of them pedestrians, have been killed in road crashes over the weekend.
A 19-year-old woman died after being hit by a car in Letterkenny in Co. Donegal around 4am on Sunday morning, while a man in his fifties died also after being struck by a car in Oughterard in Co. Galway around 2am on Sunday morning.
Also in Co. Galway, a man in his twenties was killed in a crash on the Craughwell to Athenry road around 8am on Sunday morning.
In Cork, a man in his twenties died after being struck by a van on the South Ring Road in Togher around 3:30am on Sunday.
A 24-year-old man was also killed in a collision between Williamstown and Ballymoate in Go. Galway sometime after 1:50am on Sunday.
Two motorcyclists were also killed in road accidents on Sunday. A 34-year-old man was killed when his bike crashed into a ditch in Tomriland, Roundwood, Co. Wicklow around 11:30am.
A 36-year-old man also died after losing control of his bike in Sralea, Ballinasloe in Co. Galway around 11:45pm. He was taken to Portincula Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Man Killed In Road Crash In Waterford
A man has died in a road crash in Waterford. The collision, between a truck and a car, happened on the N25 just after Kilmacthomas at around 7.50am on Tuesday, 10 May. The man, aged in his late 20's, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck did not require medical attention.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Teenager Killed In Co Tipperary Road Crash
Gardaí in Co Tipperary have reported the death of a 19-year-old man in a road accident. According to gardaí the man, whose name has not been released, was killed in a single vehicle collision on the Fethard/Killenaule road after 8am. There was nobody else in the car at the time. An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.

26-Year-Old Man Killed In Farming Accident
A man has been killed in a farming accident in Knockea, Co Cork. According to reports the 26-year-old man was found trapped under a trailer at around 12:45am. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation into the death has been launched by the Health and Safety Authority.

Irish Man Killed In Accident In Russia
A Co Meath man has been electrocuted in a tragic accident in Russia. Martin Kerrane, 26, was electrocuted during a train journey in the Omsk region of Siberia at the weekend. It was reported that the accident happened as he got off the train and accidentally touched an electrical cable.
