Appeal Issued For Missing 15-Year-Old Peter Lyons

Gardaí have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of 15-year-old Peter (PJ) Lyons.

The teenagers was last seen in the Oakfield Industrial Estate, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, on Tuesday, 15 October.

He is from Deansrath Grove, Clondalkin.

He is described as being 6'2" in height, slight build, fair hair and blue eyes. It is not known what Peter was wearing when he was last seen.

Anyone who may have seen Peter or has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01-666 7600, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Public Appeal After Third Confirmed Case Of Measles In Ireland
The Public Health Agency (PHA) has announced that it has been made aware of a third confirmed case of measles in the Republic of Ireland. It is understood that the case was confirmed in a resident of Ireland who had arrived back in the country from Abu Dhabi on Saturday 9 March 2024.

Gardai Renew Appeal For Missing Louis Parsons
Gardai in Clondalkin are renewing their appeal to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of missing person 20-year-old Louis Parsons. Louis was last seen at 3am on the 18th November, 2012 on Bushfield Drive, Clondalkin. He is described as 6ft 2" in height, broad build, ginger hair, freckled complexion and brown eyes.

Over 660 Motorists Found Speeding Over Easter Bank Holidays
More than 660 motorists were caught breaking the speed limit across the Causeway Coast and Glens during the Easter bank holiday weekend – an increase of 22% from 2022. Chief Inspector Sinead McIldowney said: "The Safety Camera Vans were deployed at various locations across the North Coast and the increase in these detections is a worrying trend.

Man Killed In Saggart Shooting
An investigation has been launched into the death of a man following a shooting in Saggart in Co Dublin. It is understood a man in his 40s was attacked at about 23:00 on Tuesday at a house in Botherboy. He was later pronounced dead at Tallaght Hospital. The scene of the shooting has been sealed off pending a forensic examination.
