Young Boy Dies After Being Struck By Truck
A seven-year-old boy has died after he was struck by a truck in Dublin.
The collision occurred at St Joseph's Way, Ballymun, shortly after 4.30pm on Sunday 01 September.
The child was taken to Temple Street Children's University Hospital in serious condition, where he passed away later that evening,
The driver of the truck suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken to The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.
Garda Collision Investigators were tasked to the scene and the Health and Safety Authority has been notified.

Man Killed In Offaly Crash
A man in his 50s has been killed in a crash in Offaly this morning. The crash occurred on the Bracknagh to Monasterevin Road when an articulated truck he was driving left the road after 8am. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the collision.

A man has been arrested after fleeing from the scene of a fatal accident on County Cork in the early hours of this morning. Two men in their 20s were killed in a head on collision of two vehicles at approximately 2.45am this morning on the N25 at Caherulton, Castlemartyr, County Cork.

A woman has died in a road crash in County Meath this morning. The collision, between a truck and a car, happened on the Duleek to Drogheda Road at approximately 6am on Thursday. Another female passenger in the car has been taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital with serious injuries.

Tipperary Car Crash Claims Life Of Young Motorist
A motorist in his early 20s has died after his vehicle and a truck collided on Tuesday, according to gardaí. The incident occurred at Kilmastulla, Birdhill, Co Tipperary at 4.15pm. The body of the dead man was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital, where a post mortem examination will take place.
