Elderly Man Dies In Cork Collision
A man in his 70s has died following a single vehicle collision in west Cork on Saturday 24 August.
The incident occurred shortly after 6pm on the Main Street in Skibbereen and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is being treated as a sudden death and no-one else is believed to have been injured.

A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

A man has died following a road collision in Galway. The incident happened at Glenascaul in Oranmore around 1:30pm on Thursday. It is understood that the car the man was travelling in collided with a tractor.

Man Dies After Tipperary Collision
A man has died after being hit by a truck in Co Tipperary. The incident happened on the N7 at Scragg, Carrigatoher, Nenagh shortly after 1pm on Wednesday. The 76-year-old was taken to hospital after the collision, but died later.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A man has been arrested after fleeing from the scene of a fatal accident on County Cork in the early hours of this morning. Two men in their 20s were killed in a head on collision of two vehicles at approximately 2.45am this morning on the N25 at Caherulton, Castlemartyr, County Cork.
