Man Dies In Cork Collision
A man has lost his life in a collision between a car and a truck in east Cork.
The crash happened on the Midleton to Whitegate road shortly after 7am this morning, Thursday 01 August.
The fatality, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was taken to Cork University Hospital for a post mortem.
The road has been closed for examination with local diversions in place.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

An investigation has been launched into the cause of a fatal road traffic collision this morning on the Cork - Limerick road. A man has been pronounced dead following the collision involving a car and truck at approximately 10am at Annabella on the outskirts of Mallow in Co Cork on the N20 route.
