Dundalk Crash Out Of Champions League

Dundalk have been knocked out of the Champions League in the second qualifying round after a comprehensive 3-0 defeat to Azerbaijan champions Qarabağ.

After taking a respectable 1-1 scoreline to Azerbaijan, the League of Ireland champions were steps below the experienced European side.

Vinny Perth's side will now enter the third qualifying round for the Europa League, where they will face Slovakian team Slovan Bratislava.

Elsewhere, Qarabag will face Apoel Nicosia for a place in the Champions League play-off round.

Defending champions Ireland have claimed their first win of the 2019 Six Nations with a 22-13 victory over Scotland at Murrayfield.
