U-21 Irish Striker Idah Signs New Deal With Norwich

Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Adam Idah has signed a new deal with English Premier League newcomers Norwich City.

The 18-year-old striker has now joined up with the senior squad ahead of the new season.

This call up follows an impressive spell for the club's Under-18s and Under-23s sides, which saw him bag 13 goals last year.

Idah said: "I'm delighted to sign a new deal here. The moment they offered me a new contract, I knew straight away that I wanted to sign it.

"I've loved every minute here so I'm delighted. My form last season was great and I've worked very hard to get myself to where I am now.

"I'm delighted to be in the position I am now. Last year helped me a lot to get me to this position.

"There are lots of people who have helped me. The staff have been great to me and even through the tougher times, they've helped me through it."

Idah first joined Norwich in 2017. He will now wear the number 35 shirt.

Norwich will head to Anfield for the opening game of the 2018/19 Premier League season to face European champions Liverpool.
