Teenager Dies In Fatal Tipperary Crash

A 19-year-old woman has been killed in a single-vehicle car crash in Co Tipperary.

The teenager died after her car struck a tree on the N24 at Ballydrehid, near Cahir, this morning, 14 January.

The incident occurred at around 8.30am.

Her body has since been taken to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem will be carried out.

The road is now closed as forensic examinations take place on site.

Garda is appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

PSNI Investigating Fatal Collision Near Bready, Co Tyrone
An investigation has been launched following a fatal road traffic collision near Bready, Co Tyrone. At around 1.40pm on Sunday, 07 April, police responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on the Victoria Road. A man has been killed in a collision in Galway. The car crash happened at around 2.45am this morning on the Headford to Galway Road. The 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Carlow Car Crash Kills Two
Two people have been killed in County Carlow. A man, 23, and a woman, 18, died when the vehicle they were travelling in hit a tree in Kilcarry, Clonegal. No other vehicles were involved in the incident and the two killed were the only occupants in the car. Garda have appealed for any witnesses to the crash.

Woman Killed In Fatal Car Crash In Co Limerick
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a fatal car crash in Co Limerick. The incident happened around 11:30pm at the Applegreen service station at Coolanoran, Rathkeale on 05 March. The driver of the car, a woman in her late 30s, was fatally injured in the single-car crash.

Govt Slammed Over Ongoing Housing Crisis
Sinn Féin has hit out at the government over the homeless crisis in Ireland. Deputy Michael Colreavy, Sinn Féin TD for Sligo/North Leitrim, said the government cannot just put a "band aid" over the issue and is calling for a initiative to be introduced to attempt to fix the ongoing problem.
