Body Discovered In Disused Building In Lucan

A body has been discovered by garda officers who were searching for a missing teenager.

No formal identification has yet been made but it is understood that garda searching for 14-year-old Anastasia Kriegel, who has been missing since Monday 14 May, discovered a body in a disused building on the the Clonee Road, Lucan at about 1pm.

The scene of the discovery has been preserved to allow for a forensic examination.

A post-mortem examination will then be carried out.

Body Found In Co Donegal
Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Body Discovered In Galway Street
An investigation is underway following the discovery of a body in Galway city this morning. It is understood that the body of a 40-year-old local man was found at around 07:30 on Wednesday morning on Shop St. Gardaí have said that they do not believe the death to be suspicious.
