Man Dies Following Tipperary Car Crash
A man in his 20s has died following a car crash in Co Tipperary.
The single-vehicle incident occurred on the N24 at Lacken, Kilshane at 4.40am this morning, Wednesday 07 February. It is understood the car left the road and struck a wall.
The victim, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, was taken to hospital with serious head injuries. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardai said anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have information is asked to contact Tipperary Garda Station 062-80670, the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666111 or any Garda station.

Appeal Issued For Missing Tipperary Man
Gardaí have appealed for help in tracing missing Tipperary man John Esmonde. The 38-year-old has been missing since around 22:00 on Wednesday 11 March. When last seen he was wearing a dark jacket, blue denim trousers and a black woollen hat. He is believed to have been carrying a brown shopping bag.

Man Dies In Shooting Incident
A 21-year-old man who was shot in Bunratty, Co Clare, died yesterday in hospital. Two men are still being questioned over the attack at the Bunratty Castle Hotel car park, and are being detained at Mayfield and Gurranabraher Garda Stations.

Elderly Man Seriously Injured After Assault In Cork
An elderly man has been taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries in an overnight attack in county Cork. The pensioner, a man in his 70s, received a punctured lung and other injuries when he was set upon in a car park in Sleaveen East in Macroom. A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and taken to Bandon Garda Station.

Man Stabbed To Death In Tipperary
A man has died from knife wounds after an incident in a villiage in Tipperary last night. The male victim, who was in his late 20's, was fatally stabbed in the street outside his house following an altercation. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It is understood the victim man was Irish and was from the area.
