Taxi Passenger Killed In Road Traffic Collision In Dublin
Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Dublin in the early hours of Friday morning.
A man has died following a two car collision at Summerhill Parade, Dublin, at about 1.40am on Friday, 23 June.
The man, believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s, was a passenger in a taxi, which was incolved in a collision. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the taxi is being treated at The Mater Hospital for minor injuries. The driver of the other car was uninjured.
The road at the scene has re-opened following an examination of the crash site by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact gardaí.

Four Killed On Irish Roads This Weekend
A number of separate road crashes this weekend have claimed four lives, including a father and son. John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. The collision occurred at the junction of Slab Road, Burt, on the Main Letterkenny to Derry Road at approximately 10.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to an incident in which a cyclist was hit by a bus in south Dublin. According to gardaí, a 55-year-old woman was hit by a bus while cycling at about 21:40 on Burlington Road on Monday night. She is currently being treated at St Vincent's Hospital, where her condition is described as serious.

Two people have died on Ireland's roads after traffic collisions in Dublin and Kilkenny in the last two days. In the latest incident, a male aged 19 was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a stationary vehicle. His body was taken to Tallaght Hospital.
