Herbal Cannabis Seized At Portlaoise Mail Centre
Herbal cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized by Revenue officers at Portlaoise Mail Centre.
Following routine profiling, and with the assistance of Revenue's detector dog team, 7.5kg of herbal cannabis was found concealed in parcels from Nigeria, addressed to a location in Dublin. Investigations are ongoing with a view to prosecution.

Cannabis Seized During Raid In Wexford
Gardai have seized herbal cannabis following a raid on a house in Wexford. It is estimated to have a street value of €45,000. A number of plants were found during the search of a property in Lee Heights on Thursday. No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.

Cannabis Worth €94,000 Seized In Galway
Herbal cannabis worth an estimated €94,000 has been seized during a joint Revenue Customs Service and Garda operation in Galway. Approximately 4.7kgs of herbal cannabis was seized during the search of a house in Knocknacarra. It is believed the drugs had originated in Cotonou, Benin in West Africa and were concealed in dried fish.

Revenue officers have seized herbal cannabis and ecstasy tablets worth an estimated €48,850 at Dublin Mail Centre The illegal drugs were discovered in 14 separate parcels originating from the United States and the Netherlands and were declared as items such as 'fabric', 'gloves', 'bathrobe' and 'denim hooded jacket'.
