'Significant' Firearms And Ammunition Seizure Made In Co Dublin

Three men have been arrested in connection with a significant firearms and ammunition seizure in Co Dublin.

It is understood that the seizure was made at an industrial estate in Baldonnel earlier today, Tuesday 24 January.

The operation was carried out by Gardaí Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.

No further details are currently available, but gardaí are due to hold a media briefing shortly.

Two Held Following Drug Seizure
Two men are being held following the discovery of cannabis and amphetamines worth an estimated €140,000. Some €20,000 worth of cannabis and €120,000 of amphetamines were uncovered when a car was stopped and searched in Waterford. Gardaí say the search was part of an ongoing operation.

Man Charged Over Gardaí Drug Seizure
A man arrested on Monday by Gardaí from the National Drugs Unit has been charged and is due to appear before Cloverhill District Court on Tuesday 29 July 2014 at 10:30. The 55-year-old male was arrested on Monday 21 July and detained at Coolock Garda Station following searches in the Kinsealy area, County Dublin.
