Man Arrested Over Dublin Drug Seizure
A man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of a large quantity of cannabis plants in Shankill, Co Dublin.
As part of an on-going operation targeting the cultivation of cannabis in the south dunlin area, Gardaí carried out the search at a house at Heronford Lane on Tuesday evening. There, they discovered 400 cannabis plants growing on the ground floor and a further 700 in the basement. The seizure may have a street value, subject to analysis, in excess of €500,000.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and is being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking)Act, 1996 at Shankill Garda Station.
The house has been sealed off for a forensic technical examination.

Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Seizure
A man has been arrested following a drugs seizure in Cork at around 10.30pm on Wednesday night. Around €58,000 worth of cannabis plants and equipment were found during the search of a house in Mallow. He is currently being questioned at Mallow garda station.
