Two Arrested And Cash Seized In Raids Across Limerick
Two men have been arrested and a "significant amount of cash" has been seized in a series of raids across Limerick.
Officers from the Criminal Assets Bureau were support by local garda in raids on 11 premises as part of an investigation targeting an organised criminal gang in Co Limerick.
Seven houses and four industrial premises were searched, with officers seizing cash, documents and other evidence.
It is understood that the two men arrested during the raids are being held on minor public order offences.
Gardaí said that their investigation is ongoing.

Six Arrested In Dawn Raids Across Galway City
Gardaí in Galway have arrested six men in dawn raids across the city. The raids were conducted by the Galway Divisional Drugs Unit as part of Operation Sandman, and ongoing operation tackling the sale of drugs in Galway. The six men are expected to appear before a special setting of Galway District Court later today.

Revenue and garda officers have seized 20,000 illegal cigarettes, a quantity of drugs and cash during two searches in Dundalk, Co Louth. Revenue officers, acting on intelligence, carried out searches at two premises and discovered 20,000 smuggled 'Excellence'-branded cigarettes along with 7kgs of 'Flandria' tobacco.
