Man Appears In Court In Connection With Fatal Longford Stabbing
A man has appeared in court charged in connection with a fatal stabbing in Longford.
A man in his 30s was discovered with chest wounds in the Great Water Street area at around 11.50am on Tuesday, 01 November. He was taken Mullingar Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The 24-year-old suspect was arrested and appeared before Mullingar District Court at 10.30am today, 03 November.
It is understood he was remanded in custody and will appear before a sitting of Cloverhill District Court on 10 November.

Woman's Body Found At House In Co Meath
Gardaí in Co Meath have discovered the body of a woman at a house in Longwood. According to gardaí they discovered the woman's body at around 17:00 on Monday at a house in Edgeworth Court. An injured man, believed to be aged in his 30s, was also found at the scene and is being treated at Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
