Man Arrested Following Finglas Drugs Seizure
A 56-year-old man is due to appear before the Courts of Criminal Justice charged in connection with a drug seizure in Finglas this week.
Gardaí from the Special Crime Task Force and the Organised Crime Bureau Unit seized 30 kg's of cannabis, half of kilo of cannabis herb worth an estimated street value of €190,000, and a quantity of cash during a search of a premises in north Dublin on Wednesday.
Two men were arrested and detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
A 45-year-old man appeared in court on Thursday, with the second man due to appear today (Friday).
Garda said the raid was carried out as part of an intelligence-led investigation into serious organised crime in the Dublin region.

Officers from the National Drugs Unit have arrested a man in connection with the discovery of cannabis resin worth an estimated value of €234,000. The man, aged in his 40s, was arrested on Thursday at a service station on the M1 southbound at about 09:00am in what has been described as an "intelligence-led operation".
