Two Men Arrested In Connection With Dublin Park Rape

Two men have been arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault in Dublin.

A woman, aged in her 30s, was pushing a bicycle along the Ninth Lock Road when she was attacked by up to three men at around 3.20am on Thursday, 28 July.

It is understood the victim was confronted at knifepoint before being dragged into a park where one of the men raped her.

Garda have arrested two men, aged in their late teens and early 20s, in the Ronanstown area.

The suspects are being detained at Lucan Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984. 

The investigation is continuing and Garda are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Two Arrested Following Supermarket Raid
Two men have been arrested following a raid at a supermarket in the Clarehall area in Dublin last night. At around 10.30pm, two men armed with a knife entered the premises on the Malahide Road and threatened two members of staff, before tying them up and attacking them. The pair then left the scene with a sum of cash.

Three More Questioned Over Quinn Murder
Three men are being questioned by the PSNI about the brutal gang-murder of Co Armagh man Paul Quinn after three others were arrested by gardaí earlier. The three men arrested by the PSNI are from the Crossmaglen and Cullyhanna areas and while two are aged in their 50s, one is in his 20s.

Men Arrested Over €1m Cocaine And Heroin Find
Heroin and cocaine, with an estimated street value of €1m, has been recovered in a house search in Ballyfermot on Tuesday. Gardaí arrested two men, aged in their 30s, at the scene after officers uncovered 13kgs of cocaine worth an estimated €900,000 and 1.5kgs of heroin, with an estimated value of €225,000.

Major Drug Seizure Made In Limerick Search Operation
Cocaine, cannabis and MDMA worth more than €140,000 has been seized by Gardaí in a raid in Limerick. The seizure was made during a search operation in the Castleconnell area of the city on Sunday, 11 August. They found €120,000 worth of cocaine, €20,000 worth of cannabis herb, along with MDMA and shotgun cartridges.
