Man Killed In Collision In Maynooth, Co Kildare
A 38-year-old man has been killed in a single vehicle road traffic collision at Ladychapel, Maynooth, Co Kildare.
The man was fatally injured when his 4x4 vehicle collided with a ditch at about 3.15pm on Monday.
A female passenger in the vehicle remains in Naas General Hospital, but it is understood that she suffered minor injuries.
The road was closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators but has since reopened.
Gardaí wish to appeal for witnesses to contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01-666 7800 The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Gardaí in Co Tipperary have reported the death of a 19-year-old man in a road accident. According to gardaí the man, whose name has not been released, was killed in a single vehicle collision on the Fethard/Killenaule road after 8am. There was nobody else in the car at the time. Gardaí in Co Wexford have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road accident on the N25 at Kilmacree. A woman in her 20s was killed when her car collided with another vehicle at about 12:25 on Sunday. The male driver and female passenger in the other car, both in their 50s, were seriously injured and were also taken to Wexford General Hospital.

Man Dies In Waterford Collision
A man in his 20s has died following a road traffic collision in County Waterford on Monday evening, 08 April. The single vehicle crash occurred near O'Keefe's Cross, Dunhill at around 6pm and saw the car collide with a wall. The deceased is understood to have been the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Gardai in Roscommon said they are investigating the circumstances of the single vehicle fatal road collision that occurred at approximately 3.15am on the Roscommon to Castlecoote Road (R366), some 2.5 miles outside Roscommon town.

Garda have detained a man in connection with a fatal road crash in Co Mayo on Sunday, 08 May. A 41-year-old motorcyclist was killed when his bike collided with a van on the N26 at Ballinahaglush at around 3.45pm. A man was arrested and is being detained at Ballina Garda Station.
