52-Year-Old Man Killed In Single Vehicle Collision

A 52-year-old man has died following a single vehicle collision in Co Kerry.

The collision occurred on the N86 between Ballintaggart and Dingle at approximately 3.20pm on Wednesday, 10 August.

The man was injured when the minibus he was driving left the road and struck a ditch.

He was taken to University Hospital Kerry where he was later pronounced dead. The local coroner has been notified and Garda forensic collision investigators are currently at the scene.

Four passengers travelling in the minibus at the time were uninjured. Local traffic diversions have been put in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Tralee Garda Station 066-7102300 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.

Man Dies In Blarney Road Crash
A man has been killed in a two vehicle road crash that occurred between Parkanna Cross Rd and Davis Cross on the Blarney to Bweeng Road at approximately 11.30am on Tuesday. The man in his 20's was fatally injured when his car collided with a lorry. He was the sole occupant of the car and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two Dead In Separate Collisions
Two people have died on Ireland's roads after traffic collisions in Dublin and Kilkenny in the last two days. In the latest incident, a male aged 19 was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a stationary vehicle. His body was taken to Tallaght Hospital.

Man Dead After Co Clare Crash
A man has died following a crash in County Clare this morning. The 23-year-old was taken to Ennis General Hospital after the one-vehicle crash in Lahinch at 1.30am. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Two women and one man, all in their 20s, were taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries. They were passengers in the car.

Man Dies After Car Hits Wall In Co Meath
A man has died after his car collided into a wall in Co Meath. The incident happened at around 4:55pm at Clownstown on the Dunshauhlin to Navan road yesterday, 07 April. The victim, aged in his 30's, was seriously injured and taken to Navan General Hospital. However, he was later pronounced dead.
