Ecstasy Tablets Worth €140,000 Seized In Co Cork

A quantity of ecstasy tablets worth an estimated €140,000 have been seized during a search operation in Co Cork.

Garda from Fermoy, in conjunction with Revenue Officers, discovered approximately 10,000 ecstasy tablets during the planned search of a house at Captain Keanes Groves in Mitchelstown on Thursday, 14 July.

An amount of cannabis, cocaine and associated drug paraphernalia was also uncovered during a follow up search at a second property in Liam Lynch Park, Mitchelstown.

A 19-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the seizures and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí Seize Firearms And Drugs From Dublin Apartment
A man and a woman, both in their 20s, have been arrested following the seizure of firearms and drugs during a search of a Dublin apartment. The Gardaí found cocaine with a street value of €100,000, ecstasy tablets worth €11,5 and cannabis worth €6,000 in the Clondalkin flat. Two shotguns and a ammunition were also seized during the evening raid.

Two Men Detained in Connection With Major Drug Seizures In Tipperary
Two men have been arrested in Tipperary in connection with a major drug seizure worth an estimated €550,000. It is understood that a van failed to stop for garda in Ballinure and as garda gave chase, the officers saw two packages being thrown from the vehicle. Garda stopped the vehicle a short distance away and detained two men, aged 45 and 22.

Three Arrested In Connection With Drugs Find
Three people have been arrested after 72,000 ecstasy tablets, worth an estimated street value of €720,000, were seized in Dublin on Tuesday. Officers from Revenue's Customs Service, assisted by the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau discovered the drugs during two house searches. Two men, aged 42 and 43, and a woman, 46, were arrested.
