€10,000 Worth Of Controlled Drugs Seized In Waterford
Revenue officers have seized controlled drugs worth an estimated €10,000 in an intelligence led joint operation involving Customs Service, the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, the Waterford Drugs Unit and the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA).
During the operation a house in the Waterford area was searched and a quantity of controlled drugs – 5,000 Diazepam and Alprazolam and 50g Cannabis Resin – were seized.
A male, aged 29, and a female, aged 28, were arrested by Gardaí and have been detained at Waterford Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
Investigations are continuing.

Drugs Seized And 15 Arrests Made In 'Operation Reuben'
Gardaí have arrested a total of 15 people in Co Cork as part of a major anti-drug operation. Dubbed "Operation Reuben", Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit moved in and arrested 15 people within 48 hours following "a lengthy drugs operation". Of those arrested, 11, of which two are female, have been charged.

Six Arrested In Garda Drug Raids
A garda operation targeting gangs involved in manufacturing drugs launched raids on Tuesday morning at 20 different address across the south east of Ireland. More than 60 officers were involved in the raids in counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary and Waterford. Garda said that six men were arrested in Kilkenny city in connection with the raid.

Man Arrested Over Methadone And Handgun Seizure
Methadone worth an estimated €3,000 has been seized along with a handgun from a house in the Abbotstown area of Finglas. A man in his 50s has been arrested in connection with the finds, which were made by garda from Finglas and members of Cabra drugs unit during a raid on Tuesday afternoon.
