Garda Renew Appeal For Witnesses To Dame Lane Assault

Gardaí have renewed their appeal for witnesses after a man was assaulted on Dame Lane on Saturday 25 June.

The victim, aged in his 30s, was found unconscious suffering serious head injuries on Dame Lane at approximately 11.30pm.

Garda are particularly interested in speaking to a number of people who stopped and assisted the man after he was assaulted.

Witnesses are asked to contact Pearse Street Garda Station on 01- 6669000, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

A male in his 20’s remains in custody at Pearse Street Garda Station.

Witness Appeal Following Alleged Assault In Dublin
Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses of an alleged assault at Dame Lane, Dublin, on Saturday 25 June. Gardaí were alerted to the discovery of an unconscious man by a member of the public at about 11.30pm. The man, in his late 30s, was found with serious head injuries, close to the entrance to a pub on Dame Lane.

Teenager Arrested Over Serious Attack In Dublin
A teenager has been arrested in connection with a serious attack in Dublin. The assault happened shortly after 1am at the junction of Dame Lane and Trinity Street on Monday, 02 May. The 21-year-old victim sustained injuries to his face and was taken to St James's Hospital for treatment.

Two women have been arrested in connection with the death of a man on Cow's Lane, Dublin on Thursday, 10 September. A man in his 20s died following a violent disorder incident last week. The two women, both aged in their early 20s, are the latest to be arrested as part of the investigation.

Garda Injured In Cork
A garda has been injured while on duty in Cork on Monday night. The sergeant has been treated in hospital but has been discharged. He was bringing a patient, aged in his 20s, to the Mercy University Hospital just after 6pm. The garda is based at Gurranabraher Garda Station.
